From Octobr the 27th to October the 30th 2022, Archeopark Campi Flegrei participated in the Mediterranean Archaeological Tourism Exchange (BMTA),
a unique event in the world that promotes intercultural dialogue and cooperation among peoples, through participation and exchange of experiences among countries in the Mediterranean, the Middle East, and some 15 foreign countries, including Egypt, Morocco, Tunisia, Syria, France, Algeria, Greece, Libya, Peru, Portugal, Cambodia, Turkey, Armenia, Venezuela, Azerbaijan, and India over the years. The event aims to enhance Archaeological Parks and Museums, promote tourist and archaeological destinations, foster marketing, contribute to seasonal adjustment, and increase economic opportunities and employment effects. The initiative was promoted by the Campania Region, the city of Capaccio Paestum and the Archaeological Park of Paestum and Velia. In addition, it was sponsored by the Ministry of Culture, the Ministry of Tourism, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, the Conference of Regions and Autonomous Provinces and Anci, and was recognized as a best practice of intercultural dialogue by the international governmental organizations of culture and tourism of the UN, Unesco and Unwto.

On this occasion, Archeopark Campi Flegrei had the opportunity to present to the visiting public its educational and didactic offerings and services addressed to schools.
